Three images, layered to create an imaginary environment. In the background  is a reversed image of Joffre and Matier Peaks, located in the Duffy Lake region just north of Pemberton, BC. I intentionally left the wood grain exposed as it lends itself beautifully to the image, a pattern echoing the mountain peaks. I shot this image on a beautiful day, on our way to a multi-day back country ski experience. The cabin was shot in Bradian, a tiny ghost town in British Columbia which I have always found fascinating. I placed an array of skis and one snowboard outside this cabin. They are transparent and ghostlike, nodding to the past, to the passionate skiers who were beloved friends and family who are no longer with us. I wish we had super powers to reverse time.
